Hey, I’m Dusty and I go by Lucky 7 Star. Yeah, I know, sounds kinda out there, right? It’s a whole thing, trust me.
We could blame what I do on my roots! – coming from a travelling family with a mystical streak meant I came into this world wired a bit differently. Magic wasn’t just in storybooks; I was trying to make it happen! That path led me to actively study fascinating worlds of symbolism, delve into occult traditions, explore theology, and seek deep spirituality. It wasn’t just about knowing, though, it was about doing. So, I formally trained up. I also hung out with other liked-minded dudes – occultists, psychics, mediums and the like. I even hung out with scholars who were into parapsychology and related fields to get as many different angles on this work as possible (because, despite the work I do, I have a lens of skepticism, which may sound odd but it helps me stay grounded).
Some days, you’ll find me lost in books or unravelling an enigmatic documentary, watching a moody drama, show, movie, or listening to music (hello, Virgo!). Other days, my inner Leo wants to turn up the lights, share the passion and joy, have fun and entertain! But in my heart, I’m always listening. I’m just driven by a huge curiosity, always chasing that positive energy and tuned into the subtle soundtrack of life.
Basically, my journey? It’s been a long one and a proper ramble, but I’ll give you some insights. I started off with real Romani gypsies, like, proper old-school. (It’s a long story!) They taught me the tarot, how to see stuff in the crystal ball, and other things – all that good stuff! (I can read with most other divination tools, too. Honestly,
whatever divination tool works, whatever gets the job done and gives you that ‘lightbulb moment’, that’s what I’m using.) Just trying to help folks see things a bit clearer, you get me? That’s where I got my groove, and it’s still what I love doing most. It feels like coming home, you know? They taught and shared genuine, esoteric knowledge with me – not just flashy tricks or glitz like some people assume about these traditions. (You definitely won’t find the things I was taught in books!) My teachers were the real deal, showing me how to make a connection, work with my intuition and more – imparting wisdom that was steeped in tradition and authenticity. It was a special bond, one that rooted me in the craft, and every time I dive back into it, I feel like I’m reconnecting with that rich history. It is a true privilege!”
Life rarely goes according to plan, does it? My own journey has been less of a straight line and more of a wild, wonderful, and sometimes wacky, scenic route – and let me tell you, it’s been a long one! In fact, this type of spiritual work wasn’t originally what I envisioned for myself. It somehow took me on a long, unexpected journey, and I ended up right here, where I am now, working with spirit, which has been truly fascinating. Over many years, I’ve found myself diving headfirst into some truly fascinating realms.
Who’d have thought I’d end up chatting with spirits? But becoming a spirit medium was just one of the first surprising turns. Although I’ve always had natural spiritual abilities, I had to develop them, and it has been a long path to get to where I am. I was trained and mentored as a spirit medium, which truly opened up new perspectives for me. From there, the path led me deep into the world of healing, where I earned my stripes as a Reiki Master and an Essene healer. And yes, believe it or not, I even became an ordained exorcist – because I wanted more protection, and sometimes you need to be prepared for anything life throws your way! It probably helps that I also have a background in theology, which has given me a unique lens through which to view these experiences.
All of these experiences – finding the right mentors and teachers, the learning, the training, the seeking and searching for the right spiritual path, have unfolded over a considerable period of time, requiring immense patience and dedication to discover my purpose and enlightenment. It certainly didn’t come together quickly or overnight.
But the exploration didn’t stop at the spiritual. I got hooked on understanding the amazing power of our minds, becoming a certified NLP Master practitioner, timeline therapist, and even hypnotherapy. Learning NLP and hypnotherapy was something I followed to further help me in what I do, as it seemed incredibly beneficial. (And yes, I have used hypnotherapy to explore past lives – incredible stuff, handled with the utmost care, of course!).
Through all these years and incredible, sometimes mind-bending experiences, one simple truth stood out: the profound human need for connection. This realisation led me to embrace counselling and spiritual guidance, which I integrate into my work when necessary. Ultimately, I’ve learned that while spirits and timelines are fascinating, the most profound healing often comes from the simple act of having someone to talk to, someone who truly listens. It’s been quite the adventure, and every step has been invaluable.
You know, I’ve spent a lot of time in the spiritual world, exploring so many different avenues of working with spirit, healing, and reading. My learning has been both eclectic and esoteric. But lately, I’m finding myself drawn right back to where it all began for me – the true basics: ‘the craft,’ those old-school Romani-style readings with tarot, crystal ball, palmistry, and the like, plus just really tuning into energies through dowsing. That’s my foundation, you know? It’s why those ‘Romani’ themes are so strong here on the site!”
