Run, Ron Pau! Run!!!

Kicked off a great stump meeting at The Events Summit Pointe Hotel in Spartanburg South Carolina yesterday as Ron Paul makes his bid for the Republican nomination for President in one of the first of the Southern primary states amid a surprisingly receptive crowd.

<rel ="bookmark" title="Permalink">Paul stands tall with talk on freedom</rel> by The Herald Journal‘s JASON SPENCER reports– A little-known Texas congressman seeking the Republican nomination for president visited Spartanburg Saturday and seemed to arrive with all the makings of rock-star candidate for his party – despite low polling, little name recognition and a relatively small campaign staff.

“The Ron Paul Revolution.”

(Constitutional Government… Hey what a concept!)

“We have lost our faith and confidence that freedom really works!” as Ron Paul quips as he whips up the crowd into a frenzy with his messianic message “In most countries, tyranny reigns. Freedom is under attack. It’s under attack in this country, as well.”

stronger adherence to the Second Amendment over the past decade could have thwarted the 9/11 terror attacks – and that this country has gone in the wrong direction with “government bureaucrats taking away our toothpaste at the airport.” He said America can’t afford to continue to support its military presence abroad, which he called a “world empire.” He accused the government of “creating money out of thin air,” straying from the constitutional monetary standards of gold and silver. And he said he’s against abortion because a fetus has the same rights as an adult human.

It was not a large crowd, as far as crowds go, but they were vocal and as much as could fit and in fact people over flowed into the halls from the allotted space at the “Summit Pointe Meeting and Events Center” it was standing room only.

The most thunderous applause came when Dr. Paul talked about the abused of Habeas corpus and the abandonment of this important principals effects upon our Constitution. And how we should go about the serious business of conducting and winning a war without the incompetent interference from those at the TSA’s army of morons and other government bureaucrats of this ilk.

Spencer notes—Thunderous applause also followed when he decried the Patriot Act (ovation No. 4), when he said America should never go to war without a declaration from Congress or because of a United Nations resolution (ovations No. 8 and 9), and when he attacked President Bush’s foreign policy and handling of the war in Iraq (ovations No. 11, 12 and 13).

Notably absent from the discussion was what kind of government we should expect lacking of public funding and what was his plan to confront global warming.

As a populace “candidate” he has found no shortage of support from the “mainstream” party but as far as how he would preform as an actual President is still far enough in left field as to remain in the realm of theoretical conjuncture but its safe to assume he would have not found himself in the political arena at all if the current administration had demonstrated the slightest degree of repentance on any number of issues. The fact that the TSA is still finds a permanent encampment of tards, in control at our nation’s airports… Its a good indicator as any as why this administration’s oblivion remains clueless… They just do not get it. There is a cure for ignorance but not much can be done for just plain and simple stupid… Of course unless its “stupid by design”… Now there’s a scary thought but at the ends of the day remains the only rational explanation.

After reading some of the recent columns by Cal Thomas (Graham’s Treason) , Rich Lowery (McCain’s hypocritical) or even Maureen Dowd (Dubya (or W.), wake up and get your head out of your assets) so to speak… Is showing utter contempt for the office. I think “Mr.President” is just as effective without sounding like we’re at war with each other. With all this nonsense and name calling its a wonder how this country has lasted as long as it has. First of all, we should drop to our knees and give thanks that NONE of these guys (and gals) are actually running the country… Thank God! I think maybe Mr. Thomas is perhaps the finest soldier in the jihadist army except for maybe Richard Lowery… They still don’t get it.

Look today is this 22nd of September the first day of fall, we retired the F-14 TomCat after 34 years of service, our first line pure fighter, still even now, few aircraft on the planet rival its avionics engaged in air to air combat… but the secret weapon remains the “TopGun” pilot in the cockpit. Just about every General, special ops soldier, and fighting man worth his salt knows that its not the helmet upon the head, the tank or aircraft in which he fights or the boots upon his feet that matter… But rather that which is placed inside the American soldier’s heart that has created the world’s most feared warrior.

Part and parcel Of this arsenal of freedom is the Constitution of the United States of America, its armor truth, justice, and the absolute and certain knowledge our fight is in the just and righteous cause of freedom. That is, if we’re going to win this war, this is how it will be done, as we have always done, and that’s by being more American, not less… By drawing a clear and distinct line of demarcation between what and who we are… I think maybe I was in love once with a beautiful creature in which we had little, if anything in common… except for maybe a passion for life and ideas. I mean you can tell the difference in a kiss when its just planted on the lips… Or the rapture in such a way you feel it to your toes so as to cause everything else in the world to just fade into obilvion. It’s the sincerity that once it touches never leaves the heart of its victim. It convicts to the tears to ones eyes and renders courage to the etenal heart… It makes for a fearless soul. Awesome is the soldier that fights with love… In the eyes of God, truth and courage always win, one gives rise to the other and together become the most powerful force in the universe. Thank God we still have such honorable men (Senators Lindsey Graham, John McCain , and John W. Warner) of sincere conviction and steadfast constitution. God bless America.

Everything that is bad with the world today revolves around our use of fossil fuel in one form or another… Global warming, war, terror from the skies, terror from weapons of mass destruction, terror from poverty, terror from having ones loved one father mother brother sister soldier murdered in some strange and foreign land, and even terror from highly paid political terror lobbist in Washington DC who corrupt our constitution from within … All could be solved if this nation did not depend upon the bizarre world of the petrol terrorist oil fields in the middle east. Now a solution appear to be within sight.

bmw-testing-hydrogen-combustion-7-series byGermanCarScene‘s M Warren — BMW unveiled the concept in 2004, at the time saying the car was four years away from production. Spy photographers in Germany have captured photos of an actual road-going prototype in testing. This photo even shows the hydrogen cylinder (or beer keg?) The Bavarian giants are promising to offer motorists a driving experience very similar to that of petrol engines, without having to compromise performance.

Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe… Once stations are set to supply the hydrogen, most likely in some kind of refilled cylinder (very similar with what you have in the CO2 Paint Gun or Pellet Gun cartridge except quite a bit larger) then these sealed units could be centrally filled and then find a distribution network very quickly. Once the idea is accepted (which is really the main hurtle and getting past the fossil age Neanderthal mind set) then, Without the need for major retooling of the internal combustion engine distribution could happen almost over night. It would indeed change the world and perhaps put the petrol terrorist out of business for good.

Speaking the truth in a world of pay-for-view lies.

Mitch Ratcliffe over at ZDNet takes on the process of getting paid and speaking the truth.. Is the Funding of an idea wrong??? Maybe you’re right in that funding for a story could (say if there was just one story, one agenda, one last dollar in the world)… such scheme might be considered a kind of monolithic well spring for the new age of the “Yellow Journalist”. But our world is much more complex and I’m sure for every story there is the other side of the coin. I would say that today’s web seems more geared and favors the Yellow Journalist… Where you have large XML/RSS portals such as The MahaBlog MoveOn.org and The Daily Kos ( though they would, I’m sure, be the first to repute the fact) they are among the most bias and dare I say racist example of “Yellow Dog Journalism” that I’ve read in recent years… IN fact one would have to go back to the early years of the 60’s Klan and NeoNazi to find the virulence of the attack in what happened with Sen. Lieberman in what amounts to nothing less than a high tech lynch mob. Just because of his sincere belief that we’re doing the right thing by holding our ground. And I think in time, when taken in a historical perspective, I believe that Sen. Lieberman’s courageous stand will be seen as correct, if we are to prevail over the terrorist factions who have no other goal but to bury our people and our country… Appeasement has never worked and it will not work now.

NuJournalism by ZDNet‘s Mitch Ratcliffe — Continuing the dialog with Jay Rosen about the future of information, citizen journalism and that raggedy profession called journalism.

Liberal McCarthyism Bigotry and hate aren’t just for right-wingers anymore by Wall Street Journal‘s BY LANNY J. DAVIS Tuesday, August 8, 2006 12:01 a.m. EDT — WASHINGTON–My brief and unhappy experience with the hate and vitriol of bloggers on the liberal side of the aisle comes from the last several months I spent campaigning for a longtime friend, Joe Lieberman. This kind of scary hatred, my dad used to tell me, comes only from the right wing–in his day from people such as the late Sen. Joseph McCarthy, with his tirades against “communists and their fellow travelers.” The word “McCarthyism” became a red flag for liberals, signifying the far right’s fascistic tactics of labeling anyone a “communist” or “socialist” who favored an active federal government to help the middle class and the poor, and to level the playing field.

It seems very odd how someone can be demonized and how bigotry finds a welcome home in the land of the Connecticut Yankee (for a change). Having lived most of my life in the Carolinas, arguably the most conservative of Southern States, its with certain conviction to find that fascism is still alive and well and apparently found a new home in the northeast most leftward wing of the democratic party. Not that I’ve ever personally subscribed to that little piece of small mind paradise, just that its with some bemusement to see what I’ve always known in that bigtory is an equal opportunity hater. Still to attack someone for making a stand, and in this case, if feel the correct stand is a mistake of our growingly too politically correct new world order.

I was reading an op-ed piece by Thomas Friedman, who siezes on the right side of things more often than not but hits the nail square on the wrong head with his blind eyed assertion the “The Bush Administration “owes” us a plan B for the mess in Iraq” and continues with ““We are not midwifing a democracy in Iraq we’re baby-sitting a civil war.

Actually neither Mr. Friedman nor do legion of the liberal antiwar haters just doesn’t quite get it. We were NEVER there to be the mid-wife for a democracy and those who thought we ever were need to look under their pillow and see if the tooth fairy has left them any change from their broken tooth. We find ourselves in a situation very similar to that of the role of 18 and 19th century England but instead of enforcing the laws of seas, we are stewards of civilization itself. There is no other power in the world that can or will lead, the United Nations is, if not completely impotent, certainly only united in their determination NOT to make a stand. And then to accuse, by proxy, Sen. Joe Lieberman for the policies of Israel as it seeks to defend its boarders against deadly missiles of state sponsored terrorism, is if not the heights of hypocrisy, then ignorance run amuck.

I think that Sen. Joe Lieberman has done something even more remarkable in this day in time… He has taken a stand despite the polls of popularity of the pompous self centric party pontiffs and he has shown enormous courage in the face of great adversity… And took a stand to do the right thing. If the people and voters of Connecticut fail to reward such audacity and moral fiber of Joe Lieberman heaven will not soon forget… He deserves better treatment and respect, if he were here in South Carolina I dare say, instead of trying to hang a noose around his neck we would give him a medal.

Who said Elvis was dead? In a blast from the one of his hit songs from the past Elvis sings out his approval of the recent purchase of his home by psychic medium Uri Geller. It is made all the more amazing by the fact that it was certain that the forces that be were in place to stop the sale. Ebay in an even stranger move than Elvis talking from the grave, said in a press release that its real estate auctions were NOT legally binding… But after Elvis sings it looks like that all’s well that ends well.

Presley sold the house after a year due to its lack of privacy “Suddenly the radio started playing an Elvis song. That was Elvis telling me we got the house.”

Clearly Elvis maybe dead but he never left the radio and seems to be able to communicate, in albeit a somewhat cryptic manner, through the electro-magnetic spectrum.

It’s sort of sad to some (especially for Play fair’s pilfering stealing thieving money mongering managers) … Those of the invested dictates of times gone by may lament its passing, most will rejoice in the dawning of a new day. Set, some say, to impose the old media Hollywood mantra “You’ll NOT work in THIS TOWN AGAIN!”… Their time has passed. As for those who would try to control by the elicit fear injected into their world view in order to create this abiding veneer of conformist hypocrisy… Your days are numbered. Its over Bucko. I’m not just talking about the larceny of funds from featured listings and summery firings without consequence… But the whole lot of it all. Wonder how John Majors would feel to have his name connected to an international racketeering operation? More on this later but… To underscore this sorted mess I came across a few facts of natue that are sure to apply to end this of reign of terror

Jennifer knows the sequence of events and the evidence will clearly illustrate the facts. This is a case that certainly demands more than a slap on the hand (Only $7,500.00 in small claims court) but rather screams class action. Why do you think that Fairplay quit receiving smtp email??? Its clear they’ve come to realize this isn’t their Big Daddy’s Hollywood (“You’ll never work in this town again!”) anymore… or at least they’re about to find out… Its a new Ballgame.

I think maybe the Federal Police Chief’s inspector that was reported needs only a lesson in proper etiquette in his choice of psychics if only he had thought instead of a local psychic if he had taken a moment to use the good sense to select the Keen Psychics of choice by Ingenio’s Chairman of Board (former PM for the UK) John Major’s Preferred stable of personal psychic preference… He might find himself instead in line for a promotion or at least a few extra vacation days in Perth. After reflection I’m sure he’s thinking to himself Oop! Wrong Psychic!, No doubt:)

Odd how it is the IT world tends to inosculate itself unto its own one world vision shared by many so as to become (or so it seems) a legend in its own mind of importance. Though I agree that 5 billion is nothing to sneeze at (talking of the record haul of booty by Apple recordings of iTunes (not Apple Records as in Abby Road)… especially when it is spent on pure luxury of something like musical iPod entertainment but is dwarfed by the staggering profits of the oil giant Exxon Mobil record profits (nearly 40 billion this year)… On an inventory of oil stock that is at near record levels, what drives this market is NOT demand (as in a free market model) but rather greed and collusion by the speculators and lack of competition. I mean there is “DRM” defective as it may be and with the tobacco industry still safely killing its own but still there is always going to be MP3… The only “CRAP” I can see is the huge amount forced down the throats of the American people… Where we find ourselves confronted with no good choice except of course you can always buy and ride a bicycle. Yea right and if too many people do that how long do you think it will be before “bicycles” are declared part of the dangerous inventory of delivery systems of and for the WMDs utilized by the perverted zombie armies of pedophile terrorist plans hatched, no doubt, while’st hiding under our very beds. That’s right be afraid be very afraid Uncle Sam has every thing under the supervisory control of FEMA. Yikes!!! OMG:)
