A Few Words in Defense of Our Country

In defense of our country
Whose people aren’t bad nor are they mean

Take the Caesars for example
Why within the first few of them
They had split Gaul into three parts
Fed the Christians to the lions
And burned down the City

Appointed his own horse Consul of the Empire
That’s like vice president or something
That’s not a very good example, is it?
But wait, here’s one, the Spanish Inquisition
They put people in a terrible position

I don’t even like to think about it
Well, sometimes I like to think about it

Just a few words in defense of our country
Whose time at the top
Could be coming to an end
Now we don’t want their love
And respect at this point is pretty much out of the question
But in times like these
We sure could use a friend

Hitler. Stalin.
Men who need no introduction
King Leopold of Belgium. That’s right.
Everyone thinks he’s so great
Well he owned The Congo
He tore it up too
He took the diamonds, he took the gold
He took the silver
Know what he left them with?
Malaria

A president once said,
“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself”
Now it seems like we’re supposed to be afraid
It’s patriotic in fact and color coded
And what are we supposed to be afraid of?
Why, of being afraid
That’s what terror means, doesn’t it?
That’s what it used to mean

The end of an empire is messy at best
And this empire is ending
Like all the rest
Like the Spanish Armada adrift on the sea
We’re adrift in the land of the brave
And the home of the free
Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye.”

Its really sad that the former land of the free and home of the brave has become the land of Stand-by Slaves courtesy of our elected officials and Homeland Security of the TSA…  Maybe we should put up a sign “Freedom Don’t live Here Anymore” or something telling the people we’ve been placed into the safe deep pockets of the highest bidder.  This is what or fathers, sons, sister, brothers are fighting and dying to protect because it sure ain’t “This Land is Your land or My Land” anymore…  Welcome to the New World Order!
 

To be perfectly honest, my grandfather and father were licensed pilots. Both chose to work independantly and as far away from the Commercial Airlines as possible, ( my father did, however, worked shortly for U.S. Airways.) TSA has ticked off more people, including pilots over the many years. It wouldn’t even be appropriate comments for me to tell you what my grandfather and father thought about TSA. Especially, when I flew from London to New York and from New York to Phoenix and ended up over the Pacific Ocean of California, because the pilot didn’t really know where “she” was going. My Grandfather (and pinoeer of flying in this (State) had her fired for being incompetent, just because it was His Granddaughter that had to put up with a profession, she was raised with, and he was upset over the TSA’s incompetance of hiring pilots that were incompetant. He was very high ranking and well known, in the flying profession. Think about who is actually flying that plane before you get molested prior to getting on that plane, and bring you own food because you will not get it on the airline anymore.

What has happened to the United States of America and their air travel system? 911 is long over and it really makes you wonder who really is in charge of the U.S. air space!
