Upon this Christmas Eve I would just like to express that our shared goal of Peace on earth is not served by placing the reasonability upon any one person. Instead of looking back at the wreckage of what landed us into the current situation in Iraq, perhaps its better we deal with the situation as it stands and avoid the temptation of a blame game. What is certain is that we have American values at stake and also the future for Israel to live in peace with its neighbors to consider. I, for one, do not believe that we could ever lose this "so called" war in Baghdad because we have been fighting it with one arm tied behind out backs. Therefore the positions of Senators JOHN WARNER, JOHN McCAIN AND LINDSAY GRAHAM are the views in which I find concerned and shared comfort. I believe that we will ultimately find victory by the full force of our Constitution, not in its piece meal destruction. We will never liberate a country through torture. Period. Former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was correct in that we can still achieve victory but not with the present policy. I do not think that victory will be achieved simply by abolishing the TSA but I do believe that the cause of victory is better served if we abolish this TSA's Junior G-man Gestapo wannabee operation and move away from fear.

I suppose that with the parade of lies that were flooded before congress, it is, perhaps, unfair to redress one agency as responsible for our humiliation in Iraq. It is clear from those at the time that there was a Cabal (In large part directed and produced by the Vice President of the United States of America and the Secretary of Defense) set in motion a sequence of deciit to push the American military over the edge no matter what the cost or consequence to our people or tarnished reputation to our nation. The objective was (and remains) raw power pure and simple. More for the Executive branch and certainly much less for the Congress and the Judicial… Or anyone else who stands in the way of blind ambition at any cost. In war truth is always the first causality.

Do you suppose when certain individuals dress in an official looking uniform of sorts, they take a "power trip"!? They become an authoritarian and make a mountain out of a mole hill. I imagine on a slow day when they have nothing better to do, especially in smaller airports, the day isn't complete until they have harrassed a passenger.

Let's not forget about lost and missing luggage the authorities can't locate or choose to ignore requests for assistance by passing you on to another representative. If you ask to many questions they'll curse at you and suddenly the call is disconnected. Not to mention luggage that sits unattended in the airports, and the authorities again ignore baggage without any concern of why it's there, or what could be in it, let alone who put it there!

Who are we to expect the TSA or airport and airline officials should act in a manner that having on that uniform signifies. I agree there has to be some degree of protection, but not to the extreme of violating a citizens rights.

Possibly if we all "dressed in costume", the aggravation in the airports, at check points and gates would go much smoother. Maybe then we would all be treated equally.
